Motivation makes things happen. You know this…When it comes to getting results, it takes motivation and ability. But where to find this motivation? And what if your ability isn’t improving?
I don’t even look like I’m motivated all the time, but I am –
diligent about installing key points –
run habits that matter to me most. You see, I don’t have to muster up the motivation to get up at 5 AM every morning, because it’s a habit. I don’t have to motivate myself to focus on running every day, because it’s a habit. I don’t have to get motivated to get changed, put on the running gear, head outside, because it’s a habit. I don’t have to motivate myself to do something that I have thought long and hard about that I’ve become habituated to in my life, because habits are things we do regularly and automatically with little or no conscious thought or effort.
