Pinochio Runner || Full of Excuses?

Eventually, these experiences can play into feelings of low self-worth and failure, which some people may try to manage by “doubling down” on things like sensation-seeking and avoiding challenges.

you can self-identify the problems of Peter Pan syndrome, the following tips can be handy:

  1. Frame a plan for future and select a run distance of your choice. Strive hard to excel in that domain.
  2. Identify what you like most about running and concentrate your struggle around it with creative zeal. Try to work out a goal congruency between challenging and achievement.
  3. Take responsibilities. Figure where you are and where you want to go.
  4. Work hard. Without that, you cannot get far in life. Nothing is made for you as your birthright. You have to earn it with hard work.
  5. Running a new distance… is not always fair. Your struggle may go futile. Don’t start a hue and cry. Prepare for a repeat battle, this is maturity.
  6. Organize events like a domestic ceremony, fixing an appointment with a friend to go running/. Commit to the local park run. Accept a Thursday hill challenge, these things… They help you become mentally adult and bring out the decision maker in you.

Making excuses is not new. People even made excuses in Bible days. In Luke 9: 57-62, Jesus deals with some men who make excuses for why they can’t follow Him. … He said to him, “No man who starts to plow and then looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.”
